Project Title:
Water Resource Management Information system (WRMIS)
WRMIS has been developed as decision support system for irrigation department, Punjab to facilitate fair distribution of water throughout irrigation network of canals and water courses. The system comprises of multiple modules each for specified area of decision making e.g. seasonal planning, entitlement & deliveries, complaints management, effluent water management, channel operations and flood operations.
I have been working as project coordinator to provide the assistance to the NESPAK in the form of data requirement, Functional and non-functional specification requirement for each of the module in the system.
A web service has been developed to migrate the data of main module like complaints module, Channel operation that shifts data from existing system to the WRMIS. This web service takes parameters of complaint module and converts it into JSON format for migration.

Project Title:
Farmer Feedback System
This section will provide an interface to record the feedback from farmers regarding the problems faced by them in relation with water theft, water flow and rotational violation of their canals. The system makes the comparison with data that send by irrigation staff and data captured by farmers. A complaint is generated into the system on the basis of farmer feedback if there is problem relating to the water theft and water flow etc.

Effluent & Water Supply System
Effluent & water supply management system deals with billing. An annual bill can be generated from system for the industrial unit. The bill is calculated on the basis of discharge sanction and effluent charges. Amount recovered and amount outstanding zone wise can be tracked from this system.

Smart Monitoring
This section is used for displaying geo-tagged photos taken from smart phones by Monitoring Assistants. This section shows Channels on Google Maps using KML files. A dash board is developed to show the daily activities of monitoring staff on the google map. The dash board shows the canals on the google map and location of staff on these canals.
A web service is developed to migrate the PMIU date from Irrigation Server to the PITB Server. This web service takes parameters of the Daily Gauges, Water Theft and Meter Reading activities and shifts them to the PITB server in JSON Format.

Asset Module deals with vehicle management, building & land management and canal infrastructure management of Irrigation Department. Web Portal Cane Commissioner Office Food Dept. Punjab
Food Department ‘s initiative to launch its web portal so that multiple units and autonomous bodies may be integrated. Cane Commissioner has the objective of monitoring and evaluation payment and over dues of sugar mills to the farmers in the overall Punjab. Cane management system is comprehensive system for managing the complaints of farmers regarding the sugar mills and other departmental complaints pertaining the complaints such as Sugar can Cess Development, Administration etc. that implements well defined protocol for performing activities on complaints to manage secretariat and sugar mill correspondence. Cane management information system assist managers and secretaries to take decisions on the basis of analytical Sugar Mill Payments and over dues to the as well as Cess schemes repots to be taken on daily, midmonth, monthly and crop season wise.
