Mulondo Moses

My name is Mulondo Moses, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering which I completed in 2018. In the same year, I started my Software development career as a freelancer and built a school management system with JavaFx and SQLite Database. The system was used to capture student's academic results, process report cards and rank students according to their performance. Unfortunately, the project did not go so far, the client ran out of funds and could not continue funding its development.

In November the same, I joined Andela as a junior developer. At Andela, development was based on Agile methodology practices. On every Monday, teams would have a scrum meeting to discuss and plan for the sprint which would last for one week and sometimes two. Tools such as git, Travis for Continuous, and also unit testing practices were highly enforced.

For the first months, I did back-end development which was based on python language with the help of both Flask and Django with PostgreSQL. Later on, I moved to JavaScript based project and worked with vanilla JavaScript, NodeJs, ReactJs and VueJs.

I left Andela in March 2020 and Joined Danapay which is a startup company that deals with money transfer mainly using block-chain technologies. I have been working as a full-stack JavaScript developer using React, Redux, NodeJs-Express, VueJS used for the back-office app and also Mixpanel which is a tool that allows you to analyze how users interact with your Internet-connected product.
