Education Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering Bulacan State University, Malolos City, Bulacan, Philippines- JOB DESCRIPTION Master Control Engineer Systems Engineer • • • Designs, creates, manages, configures and maintains the broadcasting system which includes channel playouts, automation devices, video servers, communication systems, data movers, signal routers, character generators, frame synchronizers and all broadcast equipment. Investigating playout incidents through analysis of logs on intervening broadcasting devices and software and respond in a timely and effective manner by providing technical troubleshooting. Liable for managing media and file assets by going through series of workflows for purposes such as archiving, transcoding and restoring to video servers to meet the demands of the playout • • • • • • Accountable for monitoring the quality and accuracy of the on-air materials, ensuring the transmission meets technical, corporate and government regulations Routes and manages signals to be utilized by the whole broadcasting network Provides immediate response, support and troubleshooting during malfunctions or technical problems Utilizes broadcast equipment and devices to provide fluid broadcasting operations Coordinates with Inbound and Outbound sources via Microwave and Satellite Transmission system Facilitates studio requirements for live events such as news, variety shows etc. Continuity Switcher • • • • Monitors and maintains seamless on-air transmission Checks and analyzes daily on-air playlists including programs, commercials and other related materials making sure that it airs properly.
