Natalie De Burca

I have taught in primary boarding schools along with 3 years of experience teaching at post primary level. I have taught both Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate students, preparing both groups for State Exams. My specialist areas lie in teaching both the Irish language and physical education, however I have also give 1-1 tutoring in Learning support and Junior level Spanish.

I love teaching students of all levels, catering for different abilities and providing interactive learning environments.

While working in a boarding school I gained insight into teaching primary level children and how diverse teaching methodologies are needed to gain interest and interaction from different types of learners.

I believe teaching is a continuous developmental practise and I happily accept new opportunities to develop and apply my teaching skills.

Having worked in a school with a large student population over the last 3 years, I understand the need to be flexible and adapt to daily challenges without allowing them to hinder both the learning and teaching environment.

Over the last 2 years I have gained a lot of experience teaching online and utilising resources to ensure my online platform with students contribute to their long term learning and application of taught skills.
