Nathaly Gómez

I have a great interest in financial issues and a taste for the application of quantitative ideas in this concept. I feel that I have a lot to offer and also a lot to learn in this field and I consider that this organization is the right place to do it.

My academic background has allowed me to enrich my analytical skills. At the undergraduate level I trained as a physicist and economist simultaneously, this helped me to create a structure of thought that allows me to organize axiomatically social and conjectural ideas that are present in the study of economic sciences. In addition, I completed a postgraduate course in financial risk management, which helped me to understand the implications of the organization's investment decisions. Additionally, I developed a master's degree in finance that allowed me to reinforce many financial concepts and develop leadership skills.

Professionally I have had the opportunity to work in the real sector for a short period of time and mainly in the financial sector which has allowed me to see several sides of the coin and with it to learn to handle situations that require different approaches of analysis. Also, I had the opportunity to work in the Ministry of Finance in the area of financial regulation where I participate in the development of projects for improvement and various groups of organizations in the country's financial sector such as insurers, trusts, banks, etc.

Recently I worked in the market risk area of a multilateral entity (Latin American Reserve Fund) and in present I am working for a multinational company (ENEL group) these opportunities has not only complemented my experience but also allowed me to meet and work with people of different nationalities and customs which has greatly enriched me in a personal way. I worked on several projects related to client management, crisis resolution, new products development, and audit process management. These professional and academic achievements make me a good candidate to develop my skills and learn from others who share my taste for these issues and I believe I have great things to contribute. I enjoy traveling enormously, I am passionate about photography and sport, which I think I could share and enjoy with co-workers.
