Along with my co-founder, I presented our solution in meetings with four multinational companies in Romania, and had follow-up meetings with some to clarify their needs that our product can solve.
We developed a website landing page for the product that expressed our value proposition.

Job experience
Freelancer : October 2016 – since
- February – March 2017: Lead iOS dev for Appreactor.ro start-up between February and April 2017 that makes a media cleaner app that detects similar photos and videos on a device that the user can clean. The app is in the process of being published on the app store.
Among my responsibilities for this app were:
- project manager and code architect
- wrote all code, including algorithms that compute similarity. Made the app manage memory and run thread-safe for a device with thousands of photos and gb of occupied storage.
- making the device adaptive for all universal devices, os-compatible with OS 8
- added notifications, local storage, in-app purchases, ads, crashlytics
- implemented designer's design and communicated with product manager

- Worked on an iOS app (Zenoz) consisting in making an iPad communicate with an Arduino, by opening LEDs on the microcontroller. From the iPad UI the user read and posted (GET/POST) to the IP address of the Arduino, where I coded a server hosting a REST webservice.

Lead iOS developer for a project that consisted in creating from scratch an iPad app that managed selling of sports courts to clients by taking a picture of their backyard and adding visual elements of the courts on top of the picture for a close feel to reality; finally making an estimate of the cost and payment.
Among my responsibilities were:
designed the UX for the interaction part of the app where the objects were overlayed on a picture, to simplify by an order of magnitude the usability for the user.
coded the interaction portion of the app in SceneKit. apart from importing 3d objects, coded features included: rotation of objects, zoom, panning, moving, drawing with touch, generating 3d objects by drawing shapes on the screen. This portion with the 3d object manipulation is state of the art, comparable în terms of manipulations to the 123Design iPad app by Autodesk
worked closely with the design team and coded from wireframes and designs the screens of the app
managed the architechure of the DB the app communicated with via an API

Lead .NET developer for a project that consisted in taking over a project that was written, and adding features and fixing bugs for a family of sites that served as content management systems for high schools in the UK. the sites had common code but different themes and front end structure.
Among my responsibilities were:
worked on the backend to change authentication and add different features while modifying the DB accordingly.
front end work included adding responsiveness for videos and other elements, integrations with widgets like Froala, managing plugins, carousels. worked to make the changes responsive on all browsers and mobile devices
I added changes to the GMS for this family of sites, which was a different ASP project
I managed the Amazon Webservices hosting for the GMS

Consumed an API for flights in the back-end in C#; created back-end algorithms for better cost alternatives; created a user interface with a user experience designer tailored to client needs and did user testing; sold the value of the solution to potential customers; wrote the front-end for the website in C# ASP MVC; collected features on thousands of upcoming flights over a one-month period to create a data set to use with machine learning.

Among my responsibilites were:
Contributed ideas to the theoretical development of an algorithm to disambiguate word meanings using semantic trees; worked with a team of linguists that were adding word meanings, and testers for the Windows project of the product; coded one of the methods for disambiguation in C++; tested the algorithm on a corpus of all Romanian words; quoted as an author on a paper published on the semantic system the company built.

Paid researcher over summer with Professor Doug Downey. I worked on a text-recognition project using active learning. We attempted to find missing characters in old English plays that underwent scanning and OCR, and used machine learning to complete the missing characters.
