PROFILE
Hi, my name is Nicolò Maragno and I am an Italian video editor.
Ever since I was young, I’ve been fascinated with learning about motion graphics and video editing.
In 2013 I acquired the Autodesk certificate at “ Bigrock - Institute of Magic Technologies ” in Roncade after a six months Master
in 3D Computer Graphics.
I’ve learned Adobe’s post-production programs like After Effects for visual effects in shorts and movies and Premiere Pro for
video editing.
During these years, I broaden my horizons and I improved my editing skills also learning a new NLE: Da Vinci Resolve.
This software is great and allows me to express at best my post-production workflow in any sense.
My dream is to take part in a film post-production department as a video editor because it would make me feel fulfilled.
I’m dynamic and determined thanks to my strong sense of duty and I’ve always focused on my goals thanks to my passion for
arts and entertainment.

In April 2018 I started a long collaboration with Different Media Productions, a great film production based in Padova (IT).
The backbone of this production was and still is the ability to see things from a different point of view and use this skill to create
an engaging variety of content ranging from cycling, fashion, food, and documentary.

I worked for two years in ADA channel, an architecture and design
‘s National TV Channel as a video editor and videographer in contact with many of the best national and international journalists, archistars, and designers.
This work has allowed me to learn more about broadcast and entertainment.

I worked at the Big Rock School for a CGI Animated 3D Short called “La Telecamera”.
At first, I worked with my team for the “look development” part of the short movie, deciding the best look for the entire work,
from the style of the objects to the style of the scenes and environments.
Then I edited the camera’s shooting, using the “Virtual Cameras” function in MAYA through the 3D layout created by the assets
department.
The aim was to envelop the pre-visualization of the whole short from the raw to the final composited and rendered form.
