Nikola Mirjanić

• I started programming when I was 7 years old in primary school. The teacher was teaching me and other kids Visual Basic programming language. That is where I fell in love with programming.

• I won 1st place in the regional programming competition in Serbia with the project "Calculator for blind people".

• I wanted to learn some new languages so I gradually started learning C#. My first app in C# was a movie app made for desktop. 

• Later I enrolled in a course at ITAcademy by LINK Group for C# programming (both desktop and web).

• When I finished the course I found a job in web programming but it was mostly in PHP with a framework Laravel so I self-thought myself that language. My duties there were creating and maintaining websites, optimizing user experience, user interface, SEO, page speed loads, deployment, etc.

• In my free time, I was thinking about what programming language to learn next, so I started learning ReactJS. I wanted the make my movie app for the web, so I gradually converted a desktop app to a web app.

• I'm currently working at "d-one IT LLC", a Software Development Company based in Delaware, USA, working remotely from Novi Sad, Serbia. My current duties are developing full-stack apps with the latest technologies like Next.js, React, Express, Node.js, MSSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.

• When I'm not programming I like to hang out with my friends, and occasionally play some online games.
