In this project limestone waste generated from quarries is used in place of aggregates to find out its feasibility for the construction of flexible pavement layers. Laboratory investigation including determination of physical properties of limestone waste and Marshall Stability test were Page 1 of 1 conducted. All the test conducted showed satisfactory results. M-Tech Project Title: Adsorption of phosphate using Laterite soil, black cotton soil and Fuller's Earth as Adsorbents. In this project adsorption of phosphate on laterite soil, black cotton soil and fuller’s earth has been studied at room temperature. The main objective of the project was to study the physical characteristics of the soils like moisture content, pH, specific gravity and bulk density and detection of phosphate removal by adsorbents as a function of contact time, adsorbent dosage and pH, to study adsorption kinetics and isothermal patterns. and all the experiments gave a good result indicating laterite soil, black cotton soil and fuller’s earth can be used as adsorbents for removing phosphate from waste water. Internship: I did internship in Vasavadatta cement industry, sedam. Duration: 3 months. Work: maintenance of waste water treatment plant.
