Nuno Alves

Hello, I'm Nuno Alves, a Brazilian teacher, and translator living in Colombia. For more than 10 years I've been translating and teaching for students, companies, and people who need short/long translations and interpretations.

My relationship with languages started during school when I started learning English and French, From the beginning, I understood language was a passion, and I would certainly do, professionally, something that involved languages. My first college study was International Relationship, that I finished getting a degree in International Trade.I worked with IT for more than 2 years and then invited by a friend of my I had my first teaching experience, teaching English. After 2 years of experience, I started a college degree in Modern Languages. By the end of the degree, I moved to Bogotá in order to participate in a social program teaching English and Portuguese in public schools. In Colombia, I also worked for language institutes teaching and translating several materials, from books to papers, magazines, etc.
