As a former investment banker, I worked on and closed several sell side M&A transactions worth approximately $2 billion in total transaction value. I've worked with a number of clients, including middle market businesses, top private equity firms and family offices, Fortune 500 companies, and entrepreneurs. I specialized in fundamental business and financial analysis, industry and buyer research, and pitching. Experiences include:
- Valuation analysis (conducting leveraged buyout, discounted cash flow, public comparable companies, and precedent transactions analyses)
- Operating and projection models (utilizing company information down to the SKU level and working closely with C-suite employees to develop operating and projection models)
- Industry and buyer research (analyzing growth drivers and inhibitors in specific industries, market dynamics, and industry players along the value chain)
- Fundamental business analysis (working with top-level management to understand and convey to buyers each area of the business, from finance and accounting to sales, IT, and HR)
- Marketing materials (developing confidential information presentations and for buyers and pitch books for potential new client meetings)
I've taken this experience into the software development industry, where I help operate the firm and grow the business.
