THE REMOVAL OF ZINC FROM WASTE WATER USING ORANGE PEELS.
In this study, adsorption of zinc is investigated on Citrus Reticulata (Orange peels). The effect of various parameters such as contact time, adsorbent dosage, size, concentration, isotherm models were used to find out the isotherm constants, and also for find out maximum adsorption capacity of the Citrus Reticulata. Maximum removal of zinc from waste water was 79%.
