Production manager – Ensure delivery of products achieving all the QCD parameters. Ensure all the documentation and processes of production. Ensure all the production readiness and preparedness before production starts. Find out the requirement of specific jigs and fixtures for assembly and testing of the products. Design - Design level validation of new mechanical parts and mechanical systems. Give inputs regarding critical dimensions, tolerances, manufacturing processes and supplier requirements during design review meetings.
Supply Chain - Productionise the mechanical parts and subassemblies with multiple suppliers and ensure the quality process. Appraise the suppliers about criticality of geometries and discuss the manufacturing processes and QA practices at supplier end. Periodic auditing along with SCM and QC team.
