Q ZAMAN house 99, Street 5, block j, banasri link road, dhaka · --· linkedin.com/in/qzaman · behance.net/qzaman I am a multimedia storyteller who brings into play instruments like still images, motion pictures, designer’s insights, graphical presentations, and textual sketches altogether in communicating with the world. Majored in Mass Communication & Journalism and a bachelor in Photography subsequently, I encountered divergent ideas and bagged a wide range of understanding in reportage and press photography while working at reputed foreign wires and picture agencies, national broadsheets, an online newspaper, and several media outlets. As a news-chronicler for more than a decade, I covered riots, mutiny, natural disasters, man-made tragedies, political turmoil, and national elections took place in Bangladesh. In parallel, I endeavored a good deal of long-term assignments on the current discourses. I have been commissioned by many UN and international development bodies to produce human-interest stories on social issues at home and abroad. Predominantly an editorial photographer, I am synchronously keen on documentary projects on my personal affinity. While chasing after on-going affairs and contemporary subjects around, I tend to dig into a deeper level of a given topic being a reportage image-maker and a documentary cinematographer as well.
