I am a Medical Biller with 3 years experience in the industry. I have knowledge with software such as E-Thomas, AdvancedMD, eClinical Works and Kareo. The specialties I have worked on are Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Behavioral Therapy. The processes I am very familiar with are Patient Demographics (including Insurance Verification), Charge Entry, Payment Posting and Accounts Receivable. I have more experience on the A/R side which gave me an edge to understand the importance of being accurate with all the other processes to ensure that there is a minimal denial received from the insurance companies.
