I have been working in the BPO/Callcenter Industry for 6 years with different line of businesses. I have worked for companies such as Straight Talk Wireless ( a US based mobile company and a sister company of Tracfone Wireless ), Comcast ( US based company ), and Spectrum ( formerly known as Time Warner Cable ). For Straight Talk Wireless, I was at first a customer service representative who handles billing and technical concerns: no data, slow browsing, no signal, cannot send or recieve txt messages, etc. Then eventually got promoted to the supervisory group handling difficult/irate customers who prefers to talk to someone else. For both Comcast and Spectrum with at least 2 yrs of experience for each accounts, I still handle billing and technical concerns regarding customers account. Disputes about the bill trying to find out how it happened then explaining why it happened or come up with a resolution so that customers are already educated and informed. On the technical side of the companies products and services, we are trained how to troubleshoot and fix equipments such as cable boxes, modems, tv remotes and others.
