SOFTWARE ENGINEER III | STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION\

· Design and integrate Responsive c# application for Special Education

· Implement Title-I comparability for fedral meeting standards

SENIOR DEVELOPER | UNIVERSITY OF IDAHO | JULY 2016 - PRESENT

· Designed and integrated a responsive C# web application allowing students to self-select exam proctors each semester by transferring HTML between IIS and Apache services. This solution provided students with email confirmation and a courtesy copy to the Academic team reducing the workload and ensuring consistent data.

· Created a C# desktop application utility for extracting and deploying videos sourced from our in-house backups and remote locations; detecting and processing based on diverse sources fulfilling the production team standards allowing for more flexibility and rapid recovery in the event of a studio failure.

· In order to provide meaningful and timely status monitoring, I architected and developed a web application using stored procedures, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript showing the status of video processing which allowed the production team to view for quality assurance.

· Planned and designed a new responsive touch interface for managing studio capture; implementing new logging procedures, and preventing common user interface issues arising from poorly designed web controls (integrating remediation as needed in steps) resulting in a significant improvement in automation.

· Created bare metal scripts for rapid deployment of operating systems and services to real and virtual infrastructure. Checks itself and will deploy assets from the unit’s source repository allowing a consistent environment.

· As a virtual infrastructure administrator, configured guest replication to alternate network storage arrays.

· Organized with team member workflows using Trello (online project management) to help prioritize and generate documentation, allowing accommodations and flexibility when working with clients in order to deliver accurate and in a timely manner.

· Provided training on Visual Studio debugging features (CPU usage, memory monitoring and breakpoints) for profiling applications.

· Prepared and gave short course introducing Linux fundamental command line operations to student support staff.

· Scripted nightly backups of our database system for storing encrypted copies across multiple file storages including the cloud, weekly backups of our repository and automation for data integrity generating email reports verifying that all processes were completed successfully.

· Introduced streamlined maintenance procedures allowing more time during a scheduled maintenance to support larger project deployment and reconfigurations.

· Integrated Google Analytics in order to better guide leadership in responding to website utilization, navigation, and content improvements.

WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPER | UNIVERISTY OF IDAHO | MARCH 2014 – JUNE 2016

· Debugged and deployed proctor date information integrating into our existing web forms written in C#, HTML, CSS resulting in ability for keeping track of multiple dates for proctors.

· Prepared and briefed managers with weekly updates and status report of existing web site and video processes.

· Provided technical support and problem-solving solutions for bugs in our public facing, and internal web applications.

· Reduced code base for moving video processing from standard definition to high definition resulting in less errors and manual intervention from staff.

· Documented lights-out management (iDrac) to allow monitoring and remote access control securely.

WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPER | HOTFOOT TECHNOLOGIES | MAY 2013 – MARCH 2014

· Designed and developed web application written in C# and ASP.NET for tracking sensitive data during incident issues.

· Maintained existing web form applications written in C#, HTML, CSS for adding new features for business practices.

· Maintained MSSQL server for collection of automated assembly line data generating reports for leadership.
