I have several years of experience across a variety of different product types. I have supported both server side products as well as client side products.
While at Vignette I worked a solo shift at night. The Vignette application contained a database, app server, and web server to deliver content to the end user viewing a webpage. The product supported many different databases including MS SQL, Oracle, and Sybase. On several different operating system and web servers.
Both the Permeo and Quarri products were Windows clients and Linux servers. The products dealt with the internal workings of the Windows OS so I have a strong understanding of how the different components of the OS tie in together. I am able to debug and read traces on both the Window and Linux OSes.
I have done support with customers on the phone, over email, and using desktop sharing software such as WebEx. I have used both SalesForce and ZenDesk for the tracking of customer issues.
