I have worked in the digital media industry since 2001. I studied at Full Sail University between 2004 - 2011. Graduated with Degrees in Audio Recording, Film Production, and my Business Masters. I have worked on over 40 shopify websites this past year alone. I have signed up several Shopify Plus stores as well. My agency is a partner of Shopify. We can not only develop websites with custom theme design, but also APPS. If you can't find an app that meets your needs in the marketplace, then reach out to us and discuss your app goals and we can design it for you. No monthly fees paid to any dev or app agencies. You only pay to host your app on Heroku platform for example.

I also have experience designing websites on Wordpress, in conjunction with Woocommerce. It's a lower cost platform option that doesn't quite offer what Shopify does for businesses, so you get what you pay for I tell my clients. If your a storefront that needs a Point of Sale, then Shopify is your way to go. If you just need a simple informational website with a few products and you plan on using Paypal, then Woocommerce could also get the job done.
