Member - Monitoring team (January 2012 – May 2013)
Responsible in monitoring SAP system that includes the
following:
Critical background jobs
Runtime errors
Update errors
IDOCs
Lock entries
Inbound and Outbound queues
DB/Oracle locks.
Performs Interface File Monitoring and provides workaround to
have the file successfully posted in SAP system.
Provides initial analysis for batch job related issues, runtime errors
and problematic IDOCs. Analysis will then be submitted to the
technical team to implement a solution.
Member - Problem Management Team (May 2013 – Feb 2014)
Performs investigation on recurring issues through debugging
SAP standard or custom programs.
Implements permanent solution to recurring issues through ABAP
code changes or SAP Note implementation.
Creates table index for standard SAP tables to improve
performance during Database access.
Performs fine tuning of old ABAP programs to improve runtime
performance.
Created some automation tools that will send alert mails to the
monitoring and technical team if there are issues observed in
the system related to the following:
- Lock Entries which are stuck in the system
- IDOC that are stuck or in errors
- Available work processes are below the threshold
- Inbound queues that are stuck in the system
Responsible in performing archiving activities related to the
objects required by business.
Attends QA review meetings for every solution to be
implemented
SPOC for Interface File transfer( May 2013 – Feb 2014)
Coordinates the middleware team and 3rd party service
provider whenever interface file transfer has failed.
Creates ABAP code changes to address posting issues that
cannot be handled by the middleware team or from the 3 rd
party service provider that sends or receive the file.
