Profile:
Data scientist in the financial and telecommunications industries for over 7 years. My primary focus has been
leveraging applied analytics to help companies manage complex problems. Passion for working with big data
and professional experience in data mining, statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling and data
manipulation.
Professional Experience:
• October 2018– Present: Business Intelligence Analyst at Columbia Bank. I make dashboards, interactive
reports and indicators to measure the results of Commercial Campaigns and the management of the branch
network. I apply various data exploitation tools such as SQL, Microstrategy, Power BI, Tableau, SPSS Modeler
and SAS.
I make databases, automate processes and manage the Datamart of management. I work together with the areas
of Data Warehouse and Systems in different projects to improve the processes of data extraction, updating and
normalization.
• I develop predictive Data Mining models to estimate the probability of customer response to an offer and
generate priority lists in calls and automatic messages. I also apply segmentation models to identify profitable
customer profiles through appropriate commercial actions.
• November 2015 – October 2018: Business Intelligence Analyst at Supervielle Bank. I analyzed and
measured Commercial Campaigns performance. I designed and customized databases, Dashboards, Interactive
Reports and Indicators in order to measure the effectiveness of the Commercial Campaigns (cross-selling,
upselling, acquisition, activation of the product, information, surveys, etc.) and Outbound Call Center
management (sales delay times, delays in calling clients from campaign databases, risk of multiple calls to
same client, etc.).
I developed predictive models in order to maximize the profitability of the commercial campaigns. These
models aimed to identify those clients that were more likely to respond to the offer, and thus be able to select
them for eventual commercial actions where budget constraints existed.
Professional Experience:
• March 2014 – October 2015: Churn Intelligence Analyst at DirecTV. I designed and customized
Dashboards, Interactive Reports and Indicators in order to measure the proportion of subscribers who leave
the company during a given time period (Customer churn). I recommended strategies to increase quality sales
and improve preventive campaigns results related to voluntary and involuntary churn rates. I collaborated
with marketing, product, pricing, sales, and services teams to solve business problems.
I made reports to evaluate the performance of the retention teams and measure the quality of sales among the
different channels of the company. I prepared and managed databases for the information process and its
subsequent analysis.
• September 2012 – February 2014: Tax Analyst at Accenture Service Center S.R.L. I provided tax advice
to expatriate staff who were working on different projects for Accenture in North America. I carried out
monitoring and control of data of expatriate personnel in order to determine if they were subject to taxation. I
compiled and controlled the documentation to be able to determine the taxable base of the assignment abroad
and request the tax advisor to estimate the tax costs.
• March 2012 – August 2012: Accountant Analyst at Huawei Technologies Investment Co. Ltd. I was part
of the Accounts Payable team of the Shared Service Center of Argentina that provides payment services to
suppliers for the Huawei branch in Colombia, both in administrative expenses and in engineering. I made
accounting records of various commercial documents (invoices, credit notes, purchase orders, etc.) in the
system. I was responsible for analyzing and controlling the supporting documentation in the supplier payment
process. I collaborated in the monthly countable closing.
• April 2006 – July 2006: Professional Practice- Administration and Finance Department at NCR
Corporation. Professional practice obtained by contest of academic background in the last year of secondary
school. I made management and consultations in the systems of the area, billing and various administrative
tasks.
