2. Senior Supply Chain Manager, Baskin Robbins, Galadari Group of Companies (KSA)
Oct’15 – Mar’18
Led supply chain team at head office and regional distribution centers for deliveries to ice cream
parlors (+525 Parlors) across the Kingdom and retail outlets (+2200 outlets) through own distribution fleet
Annual bidding process for strategic buying of raw, packaging and marketing promotional materials
Capacity planning, identifying the capex item requirements and inclusion in the budgets
Global purchasing of finished goods of ice cream, ice cream cakes from USA, Korea, Ireland and India,
packaging material and equipment including asset items.
Cold chain management i.e. frozen warehouses (11 distribution centres across country) and fleet of
delivery vehicles (-26 degC)
Custom clearance of 500+ containers imported shipments received at regional sea ports in Dammam
and Jeddah from USA, Ireland, Korea and India.
Major Projects accomplished:
Routing the sensitive imported frozen shipments of Ice cream cakes and impulse category through
newly started King Abdullah city Jeddah Port(Most modern port i.e. scanning of containers without
opening during custom inspection and eliminating the risk of melting) after careful analysis of sea
Freight and Transit times and resulted in drastic improvement in Frozen product Quality and
reduced Marine Insurance claims from 14 no. of melted containers(3 mio SAR/2016) to 2 no.(2017)
Technically and commercially got the project of CCTV Camera approved and completed with
introduction of new vendors, to roll out to +500 parlors to meet Municipality/Police compliance.
Introduced new distribution warehouses at outstation locations of Madina/Buraidah and Makkah
and optimized on operational cost of Fleet, Manpower and Fuel (+3 mio SAR in the 5 year
projected balance sheet)
Introduced electronic chips in collaboration with petrol pump chain, of cashless fuel filling for the
company fleet/ cars. All payments done online and expense reports generated online made it more
productive to handle at all levels of hierarchy.
3. IFFCO Group of Companies, UAE, Head-SCM

supply chain function of the parlour business covering an end to end supply chain role.
Handled export to +25 countries with complete documentation and local distribution within UAE
through company owned fleet

Recruited and built teams in the functions of Planning, Procurement, Warehouse and Customer

Smooth Start-up of Green field projects of Soya Bean Handling/Air controlled storage in 2500MT
silos, cleaning, De-hulling and milling, processing, standardisation and production of spray dried
Soya based health drink, Roller dried baby cereals and extruded full fat products like
Chunks/granules. Worked with technical/project teams and product specialists to the stage of
product approval as per specification and roll out of commercial production.
Had been a member of Nestle Moga Improvement project team on Manpower productivity,
Packaging materials optimisation, Product specifications, Machine Productivity by introduction of
preventive maintenance led to continuous improvement culture in Nestle India together with cost
saving initiatives.
Smooth start-up of green field project of Bar-One production line commissioning by liaising with
Engg. Project team and product specialists to the stage of commercial manufacturing and later
introduced new products like Munch at low price point.
Selected as a super user for SAP Supply chain modules, got trained and later trained the shop floor
teams for smooth roll out of Planning, procurement and distribution modules.
