Being a Business Analyst at KPMG, I was able to apply my skills in elicitation,
documentation, speci!cation all while working with clients from interesting
industries providing IT consultancy services for end-to-end solutions.
I was involved in both Agile and Waterfall system development principles where I got
myself involved from the project inception stage all the way to the maintenance
stage conducting activities such as: requirements gathering; technical
speci!cation; sprint planning; system testing; UAT; change request management;
account management; technical writing and user training when it comes to system
development. Additionally, I have involved in projects such as: post-implementation
reviews; IT road map development and project management.

Following the successful completion of the internship, the management offered me
this permanent position. Under this role I was able to achieve major personal
milestones and new experiences. Worked closely with the development team in order
to specify the elicited gatherings from clients and stakeholders. Both technical and
non-technical work was conducted during this time.
I had the opportunity to work with stakeholders at a large-scale international apparel
manufacturing organization. By identifying the requirements of the stakeholders
involved, I was able to successfully !gure out how the platform can be used across all
of the organizational branches and deployed in events with a participation of over
1000 individuals. At the successful completion of the projects, the results were
showcased to C-level employees of this organization. During this time I was also able
to work with a large-scale conglomerate, effectively identifying and delivering
according to the client's requirements.
Being a SaaS platform, Emojot had a multitude of collateral such as: VoA (Voice of
Audience); VoE (Voice of Employee); etc. After recognizing my competence in the
sub-category VoA, I was appointed as the expert for this collateral. During this time
I was able to bring in a new client who used the VoA solution for an event held in
Europe. This helped to mark Emojot's initial presence in Europe.
Another contribution I was able to provide for the company is by successfully
introducing the local brand agent of a global automobile manufacturing company.
Through this Emojot was able to add another strong brand under their belt of
serviced clients. I was also tasked with research and gap analysis resulting in new
features being developed.
Emojot as a company has helped me to develop my skills as a BA/PM and provided me
with enough and more freedom to practice my skills. The management never failed
to trust my decisions and was always a part of my journey right from the beginning.

As an intern at Emojot I was able to gather an initial experience on the Business
Analyst job role. Since Emojot was a startup I was able to get myself involved in many
aspects of the company which has helped me to understand about the core
functions of a software company. When I joined, there was only a small team but then
eventually the company started to "ourish with new recruits whom were very
important additions to both my experience and contacts.

As a BA, I was able to get my hands on and use tools such as JIRA, Teamwork,
HubSpot, and Swagger which helped me to gather experience on how to use those
tools and platforms in order to perform in a much easier fashion.

I was tasked with identifying gaps in the system apart from the standard Business
Analyst functions and then present the results. It was such a privilege to be able to
work closely with key stakeholders right from the start.
