Sailajananda Chatterjee

I am a B. Sc. in Engineering from the University of Calcutta. I have a long experience of 30 years. Details of my work experience with compny names, designations etc. are given below:-

a) I started my service life with M/s International Electricals, Faridabad, Faridabad, India in 1971 as a Quality Control Engineer. The main jobs were to check the quality of various electrical equipment and machines and to maintain the standard or grade as per customers' specifications. I worked there from 1971 to 1974.

b) I joined M/s Industrial Cables (I) Ltd, New Delhi as a Sales Engineer. My main jobs were Tendering, negotiations with customers, order procurement and execution, payment realization etc. In addition to Govt. Tenders, I had to look after sales in the market in Northern India. I worked there from 1974 to 1978.

c) I joined M/s Hind Wire Industries Ltd, Calcutta in 1978 as a Purchase Manager. Main jobs were the purchase of Various Industrial types of machinery, Raw materials (mainly steel wires), and various other materials required for an Industry. Vendor development was also the main job, Floating inquiries to vendors, evaluation and negotiation with vendors etc. My tenure of service was from 1978 to 1980.

d) My next company was M/s Greaves Cotton & Co. Ltd, Calcutta w.e.f 1980 to 1990 as a Sales Engineer. My product was Diesel Generating sets. Both Market sales and Govt. sales were my responsibilities. I worked there from 1980 to 1990.

e) I joined M/s Jevan Diesels & Electricals Ltd., Calcutta in 1991 as a Senior Sales Engineer and then I was Promoted to Project Manager. I started as a Sales Engineer to look after Diesel Generators to Market and Govt. Departments. As a Project Manager, I had to prepare project details for the Erection and installation, power distribution, and commissioning of Diesel Generators. To work on AUTO CAD for the preparation of Electrical drawings, project drawings etc. I worked here from 1991 to 2013.

I had to work on Computer applications and acquired skills in MS Word. MS Excel, Email, Data entry, Data computing, Writing on each and every Project detail etc.

f) Due to my age, I have changed my life from the Technical field to other ways and I prefer to work from Home. Presently I am working as a Freelancer.

Apart from my Technical skills. I have developed my writing skill and at present, I work as a content writer, Blog writer, Translator, Data entry jobs, copy typing jobs, transcription jobs etc.

I give below the key points to justify me as a suitable candidate:-

1. I worked with auto-cad for engineering drawings, this needs basic knowledge of basic freehand drawing too. In addition, I had to perform various designs.
2. I have also good writing skills both in English & Bengali as a part of my job for detailed reporting of the project, describing site conditions, Description of projects, etc.
3. I have also experience in data entry, data processing, excel data shit, etc.
4. Presently, I am working as a freelancer in Content writing, Blog writing, Translation, proofreading, Data entry etc.
5. I am also engaged in Content writing, Blog writing, Translation, proofreading, and data entry jobs.
