Central Electricity Authority, New Delhi - CEA is the organization of Power Sector under MoP
Graduate Engineering Trainee (GET)
Initially I was deputed in HRD of CEA for 3 months there I used to assist officers in scheduling and arranging presentation of interested private companies like GE,Benders etc.
After that I was transferred in HERM (Hydro Engineering Renovation &Modernization) Division. The primary motive of this division is to Renovation & Modernization of old hydro power plants to achieve Life Extension.
Assisting officers in providing information to question asked in Parliament regarding Hydro Power Plants from Ministry of Power.
I compiled data of OEM and R&M of Turbine and Generator of all hydro power across India under different plans.
I was working on Lakhwar hydro project in which designing of T&G as well as plant layout using AutoCAD and SolidWorks software.
Internship
Hindalco Thermal Power Corporation Limited,Renusagar – It is one the largest power generating company of India.
This plant was inRenusagar with a capacity of around 800MW.
Objective was to learning and understanding use of "Pump and Valve" in effective way.
Suggested possible way for precaution to avoid any accident.
Omax Auto Limited,Gurgaon – It is a part and vendor of Hero motor corps for parts manufacturing.
During this period of internship I learnt a basic idea about the Production Procedure as well as Maintenance of machine in plant.
I also get a chance to have a brief idea about working and utilization of Robots and CNC machines working and programming for manufacturing plants.

Projects
Sensor Based Braking System - This project purpose was to reduce the chance of accidents in road rage so that life of passengers can be saved.
A sensor was used which senses if any obstacles comes in sensor range and as soon as it find something it applies brake automatically.Brake type used was Pneumatic Braking system.
This sensor based car can be very effective in life saving due to road accidents.It can be allowed to run on manual mode as well as on automatic mode as per requirement

After Graduation Training
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, Delhi - DMRC is the organization which take responsibility of operation of Metro in Delhi-NCR.
Basic purpose of internship was to have an Industrial exposure.
I learnt basic understanding of and working in a team as well as discipline and norms to be followed.Get to see operation of various tools and heavy engineering machine as well.
The main work involved in the depot was overhauling and Inspection of metro trains before operation in Inspection Bay.
Trained and mentored 5 new trainees there for 4 weeks winter trainee.
