Profile & Skills
As the Freelance Operations/Traffic Manager, I worked closely with the project management and creative teams
to resource and move projects seamlessly through the workflow process in a timely manner. I ensured that
projects were resourced to maximum efficiency while keeping the business, other projects and client priorities
top of mind. My position required me to be well organised with the ability to multitask on various levels, strong
accuracy and strong attention to detail.
Prior to my last role, I have over 5 years’ experience as a Traffic Manager. It’s a role that I recognise as a crucial
cog in the wheels of a smoothly run agency. Together with 8+ years’ experience in project and account
management, I have the necessary skills and the initiative to ensure a free-flow system that works well for
everyone.
These days, more work is being done by fewer people and with looming deadlines. This is where traffic must
kick into gear and manage the entire process as efficiently as possible. It’s what I love doing, and I believe I do it
well.
From taking the brief to scheduling reviews, presentations, revisions and reverts, I like to remind myself and my
colleagues that we are one team with one goal; exceed clients’ expectations.
I believe in attention to detail. I strive to be proactive. I continually find ways to streamline processes, ease the
pressure and pull the occasional rabbit out the hat in order to make everybody’s jobs so much easier.
In this role, it’s important to possess excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills and the
ability to develop and maintain mutually beneficial internal and external relationships. I am able to work well
on own initiative and can demonstrate the high levels of motivation required to meet the tightest of deadlines.
Even under significant pressure, it’s important to possess a strong ability to perform effectively.
