Hello there,

Please let me introduce myself. I am Sara Clemens and I have 8 years of experience in Project and Quality contract management. Now, what does this mean and how does this skill set apply to your company? Over the course of my career I have envisioned, planned and led various startup programs, orchestrated events (big and small), and worked with a marketing team to get the “word out” about the programs and events that I managed. At this turning point in my career I would like to apply my skill set to a new and different career path and industry; please see what I have to offer below.

Programs Management Experience

Job: Program Manager, Superior Energy

Program: OPA 90: Offshore Oil Tanker Vessel Fire and Safety Response Plan

Description: In 2010, a set of regulations were mandated by the USCG for all offshore oil tankers to have a vessel specific fire and safety response plan while in U.S. waters. I was tasked to not only manage but create and implement the entire program for all U.S. vessels. This included creating a 55 page plan template that had to meet USCG approval, writing vessel specific plan information into the approved template, managing over 50 clients, providing customer service via email and phone call 24/7, billing, program training , PR/marketing and reporting metrics for the program.

Job: Data Analyst, Superior Energy

Program: The Arctic Containment System- Arctic Challenger Barge

Description: After the lifting of the offshore oil exploration moratorium in the Arctic, my division was hired by Shell Oil to design and retrofit/construct an ice breaking barge located in Washington state that would contain any oil spilled during an offshore drilling operation. My duties as a data analyst included being a liaison between my division and our client during imperative government mandated audits and to also ensure safety protocols were being adhered to as well.

Job: Quality Manager, Brown Point Facility Services _

Program: Quality Assurance and Quality Control for DHS Facilities, Southwest Region

Description: Awarded with a facilities contract for DHS, I created from scratch an entire QA/QC program for Southern California that had to be approved by DHS. Within this program I created a detailed quality manual, procedures, checklists, process flows, reporting, surveys and forms for facility maintenance. In addition, I also created and implemented the HSE program and conducted weekly safety meetings that included handouts and power points. 

Event Management Experience

Seasoned in planning, managing and sometimes even speaking at various events including training workshops, meetings, lunch and learns, birthday parties, Christmas parties and retirement parties. This included:

• Vendor selection and management 
• Caterers, menus and tracking special dietary needs
• Set up and clean up of party space
• RSVP management
• Invitation creation and marketing 
• Creation of handout materials and presentations
• Budgeting, scheduling and cost control 
• Ensuring that the event goes smoothly on the day of by being onsite

Marketing Management Experience 

Familiar with the creation of relevant marketing content and vast experience in the utilization of websites, email and printed handouts to reach my marketing audience. This included the utilization of:

• Websites: Creation and publication of announcements and news for website content
• Email: Creation and publication of surveys, e-blasts, follow-up emails, process improvement and newsletters 
• Printed handouts: Creation and publication of events, announcements and surveys
