About

I am currently an undergraduate student studying in the field of Computing.

I had solely, in a school group project, created a website that locates the various local eateries found in my area using;

1. the Google API for the pinpoints labels and the geographical maps,

2. PHP along with XAMPP (Apache, phpMyAdmin, and MySQL) for server-side and dynamic webpages,

3. HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap for the presentation, structure, and styling of responsive web pages, and

4. JavaScript and jQuery for interactive web content.

*The website is not hosted on the web.

The coding languages listed above are the technologies I've learned in school for frontend and backend web development, except for Bootstrap. In my free time, I usually enhance my skillsets and learn new things using the vast knowledge the web offers via free and paid online courses and YouTube videos. Some of the latest technologies I've learned over only one year plus include:

1. Bootstrap,

2. Node.js,

3. Meteor.js,

4. React

4. PostgreSQL

5. MongoDB,

6. Redis,

7. Markdown,

8. Sass,

9. Git, and

10. Three.js

I have not created any personal projects using the technologies above, except for simple tasks like "todo-list." Some additional skillsets that I've learn aside from web development is Python, which I use to learn Machine Learning. I've trained an image recognition supervised classification model using the CIFAR dataset using a convolutional deep neural network and Keras API. Another project that I've also done is using natural processing language and BeautifulSoup to extract desired text passages from the web. I've also touched the surface of Reinforcement Learning in a simple preset environment using Q-Tables and Q-Learning. Although Python can also be used for web development, I have not discovered how to do that just yet.

Some additional tech-related soft-skills that I have includes:

1. audio editing using Audacity,

2. spreadsheet using Microsoft Excel,

3. writing using Microsoft Word,

4. presenting using Microsoft PowerPoint,

5. database management using Microsoft Access, and

6. Java and JavaFX.

I've spent most of my time enhancing my skillsets during my semester break. Usually, I would spend my semester break out to work part-time to earn a little cash of my own. However, due to the current global crisis, I've refrained from going outside to make money but to find other means, which I discovered upon Hubstaff Talent.

I may be a novice at most of the technologies that I've listed, but I am always willing to enhance those skillsets and learn new ones even now and then, to be the helping hand for those who need aid when the time comes.

I am the Helping Hand.
