Stephan Hartmann

I am a passionate and experienced lawyer with five years of specialized expertise in GDPR and migration law in Germany. Through my strong legal background, I have advised and helped business owners, entrepreneurs, start-up founders across a wide range of legal needs.

While practising as a lawyer, I collaborated with No-Lager-Halle, Amnesty International Halle, the Zora in Halberstadt, the Nexus in Braunschweig and the Flüchtlingsrat Sachsen-Anhalt. In addition, I also played a critical member of the legal team at the G20 meeting in Hamburg.

At the end of 2019, I started helping small-medium business owners, founders, and online entrepreneurs navigate tricky and complicated markets to ensure they conduct their businesses in compliance with applicable laws and rules in the EU. I advise them on a range of legal and business issues.

As an expert on GDPR, I mostly work with various start-ups and provide legal assistance on the aspects involving personal data collection and protection, usage of competitive intelligence, and data security, and compliance. My expertise focuses on the intersection of the traditional and digital scope of national data protection laws and data transfer issues for companies.
