Successfully led the country team in the designing of the program and proactively
monitoring its progress, planning, resolving issues, initiating appropriate corrective

Managed successful implementation of integrated multi-sector cash programs with
a key focus on food security, livelihoods and resilience, WASH, Health, Nutrition,
refugees and IDPs response, entrepreneurship, economic empowerment, and socio
protection benefitting more than 70,000 HHs.
As the Head of Region ensured the elaboration and implementation of a drought
response strategy (emergency, community empowerment, refugee and IDPs
operations, CTP, climate-smart agricultural initiatives, livestock management, and
sustainable solutions) and decided on adaptation based on needs assessment.
Successfully led the country and regional Program teams to design and implement
a coherent integrated response; financial and human resources security; an
appropriate campaign/advocacy dimension for Ethiopia, Somali region operations.
Successfully oversaw the effective functioning of logistics systems to procure, store
and distribute hygiene, food assistance, nutritional, livelihood components, and
medical stock, supplies, and FSPs services for the timely delivery of project goals.

ACHIEVEMENTS
Recently completed my deployment in NE Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Somalia during
which I provided technical support to regional and country-level operations to
implement Multi-Sector Cash-Based Interventions that benefited more than
70,000 conflict-affected households, and also conducted training on Cash and
Market Assessments in the preparation for short-medium and longer-term EFSVL,
WASH, Nutrition and Education response options.
While working with World Vision in Somalia, Oxfam in Ethiopia, and Lutheran
World Relief in South Sudan, designed and implemented many integrated projects
that entailed; increased access to food, incomes, access to markets, livelihoods and
resilience, peacebuilding and conflict resolution, WASH, and NFIs/food pipeline
management amongst primarily pastoral and agro-pastoral areas of these countries
thus positively transforming thousands of lives.
As a Country Programmes Manager in Lutheran World Relief in Kenya and South
Sudan; led an integrated humanitarian response program aimed at supporting
thousands of host communities and IDP families displaced by the current conflict
(which started in December 2013) with projects covering WASH, Child
Protection, Food security and livelihood benefiting more than 45,000 conflictaffected girls, boys, women, and men
Successfully led the country program and operation teams to learning for gender
and youth mainstreaming in project management and training stakeholders in the
importance of equity and equality. This led to target beneficiaries doing farming
as a family business and women included in management boards and decisionmaking processes.
As the technical head of projects, build the capacity of my team in improving their
skills in documentation of reports, fact sheets, case studies, and strategies for the
projects.
Led inter-sector teams to design project integrations and layering to enhancing the
holistic achievement of the overall organizational goals and contributing to the
