Tania is an experienced and accomplished Project, Program and Portfolio Manager with more than
fifteen years of experience. She has operated at senior and executive management levels in various
Finance related Professional Bodies and for fourteen years in the Seta environment, specifically at the
Finance and Accounting Seta (Fasset). Tania has extensive knowledge of the Sector Education and
Training (Seta) legislative environment, and has worked closely with the Department of Higher Education
and Training, National Treasury and the Office of the Auditor General (AG) with regard to project
implementation, impact measurement and risk management.
Tania’s qualifications include a Diploma in Higher Education (HDE IV) from the Rand College of
Education, and PMP certification through the international Project Management Institute (PMI). After
completing nine years of service as a complex school educator, Tania worked for two professional
bodies, the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) where she was responsible for
the complete production of an in-house publication, “The Accountant” (including DTP); and the Institute
for Public Finance and Auditing (IPFA), managing a funded project hosted at two municipal finance
departmrnts; then subsequently for the Finance and Accounting Seta (Fasset) for 14 years as Projects
Manager and subsequently Projects Director. She has served on various Board committees during her
tenure at Fasset and more recently has been appointed as a Director on the Board of a non profit
organisation (NPO), Tumelo.
Tania has been consulting on a part-time basis for the past year. She has expert knowledge of the skills
development environment and legislation; is highly skilled in the interpretation of public sector tenders,
has excellent research skills and has a wealth of experience in writing project proposals. Her consulting

Tania’s extensive experience in Project Management has resulted in an excellent eye for detail due to the
heavy demands of managing multiple multi-million rand projects (up to 40 projects in excess of R100m
per year). As a result she is able to work under pressure, especially when balancing her workload with
voluntary work with the elderly from the community of St. Marks Methodist Church.
Tania has excellent communications skills and has developed successful working relationships with a
large professional network.
