About me

Hi nice meeting you! My name is Tara Mae Teng from the Philippines. I am currently living in Santa Catalina Negros Oriental. I graduated college last March 20, 2016 at Silliman University with Bachelors of Science Major in Psychology and with a Certification in Human Resource.

I had internships at Southdale Integrated School and at Technical Education and Skills Development authority also known as TESDA both located at Dumaguete City. Southdale Integrated School is a private school which caters to Pre-school, Elementary and Secondary students. I was assigned at the Pre-School division and was tasked to assist the teachers in guiding the preschoolers especially when they needed my help. I really love kids and I would also be willing to work in an environment where kids are involved. Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) is the government agency tasked to manage and supervise technical education and skills development in the Philippines. They offer a lot of courses to students for free and I was assigned at their Administrative Office. I mostly did filing paperwork and I even experienced calling students confirming if they enrolled in that certain course and whether they fail or pass the course. I also took the Civil Service Professional Eligibility Exam and passed last August 12, 2018 which was held at Dumaguete City.

I previously worked at the Local Government Unit of Santa Catalina. I was a Process Server and Encoder and was

assigned at the Accounting Department. I usually do Administrative tasks and whenever the Municipal Accountant would give me a new task to do, I would do it without hesitation. On my previous job, I was tasked to encode the Journal Entry Vouchers using the system being installed called NGAS which stands for the New Government Accounting System. I have worked there for more than a year and these experiences at my previous job has helped me a lot in improving my skills. I am someone who is willing to be trained and is teachable. I really enjoy facing challenges especially at work because it really helps me to grow and increase my knowledge. There are a lot of documents that needed to be encoded in their system and accuracy in detail is also very essential at work.

In addition, my skills include: Having good communication skills both written and verbal, well-developed interpersonal relationship skills, and being also computer-literate. I am someone who is hardworking, driven and reliable.
