Curriculum vitae PERSONAL INFORMATION Taulant Ukmata Jeronim De Rada Nr.2, 50000 Gjakovë (Kosovo) -- EDUCATION AND TRAINING Sep 2010–Jun 2013 Bachelor (B.Sc.) of Business Informatics South East European University Ilindenska n.335, 1200 Tetovo (Macedonia) www.seeu.edu.mk My major included a combination of a strong and advanced basis of contemporary computer science fields, but without leaving any gaps in the major fields of business. Thus this combination empowers me to make decisions on both sides, meaning that I was given the ability to manage technical aspects of a contemporary computer science field and also the major business consultancies and decisions that are needed to be made. Given the limited resources that are in the Albanian language, the only option for my major was in the English language, thus making me a proficient user. Sep 2007–Jun 2010 Diploma on the field of Natural Sciences "Hajdar Dushi" Gymnasium, Gjakova (Kosovo) WORK EXPERIENCE January 2016–Present Code Mentor CodersTrust, Denmark, Copenhagen (Project implementation in Kosovo) www.coderstrust.com (Europe.coderstrust.com) At the moment I am assuming the role of Code Mentor for the Pilot Project implemented by CoderTrust (www.coderstrust.com) in the Project WoW (Women in Online Work) where I am teaching students from Gjakova, in Kosovo, Web Development and guiding them through opportunities of having a training in Web Development and finding jobs online through different employment and freelancing platforms. I am in charge of training the Women who are part of the training and also in charge of devising the curriculum through which they will train in our Project. I am also in charge of implementing the ongoing of the Training and making sure that milestones are reached. The Pilot Project lasted till August 8th. After the end of the Pilot Project we are planning on starting in the capital of Kosovo, in Prishtina. With a new batch of 60 students. Another part of my responsibilities I am in charge of the Student Affairs team which is the ground team for communicating with the students in CodersTrust Online learning platform which was implemented in June and we are currently serving 4000 students. I am also offering my services to CodersTrust to offer Code Mentoring Support on their Online Platform. 8/8/15 © European Union,- | http://europass.cedefop.europa.eu Page 1 / 3 Sep 2014 – December 2015 Software Engineer & Open Data Advocate Open Data Kosovo, Prishtina (Kosovo) www.opendatakosovo.org Being active in the field of Open Data broadened my mindset, giving me access to different skills which I picked up along the way. During the activities through which we are trying to raise awareness of governmental and institutional transparency, I was focused on sharpening my organizational, entrepreneurial and also engineering skills. Through time I have become able to distinguish what better actions to take when working for an NGO and that has helped me make the right decisions on my line of work. Oct 2014 – Jun 2015 Technology Officer "BONEVET" Makerspace Str. "Vellezerit Frasheri" No Nr., 50000 Gjakova (Kosovo) www.bonevet.org BONEVET is the first makerspace in the region of the Balkans, I was fortunate to be part of the first launching team this November. Being part of a project of this magnitude has given me focus and precision on my skills which I have to utilize daily to maintain the facilities of BONEVET and also given the nature of BONEVET as the first in its nature in the region, you need to be sharp on decisions given that the support on many of the fields that you operate in are scarce. On a further note, BONEVET has become a center for my growth, giving me a better understanding of what it means to enter a new market in a region where once there was none. Sep 2014 – Dec 2014 Software Engineer Assemblio, Prishtina (Kosovo) www.assemblio.com During my time in Assemblio, I worked alongside a group of highly capable software engineers on developing different kinds of platforms. Our development stack was always different given the nature of our chosen field of work, meaning that we were project based and our development environment was determined by our contractors. Assemblio gave me a clear idea of what it meant to work in the front lines of a software development project. 1 Oct 2011 – 11 Jun 2013 IT Support Technician South East European University Ilindenska n.335, 1200 Tetovo (Macedonia) www.seeu.edu.mk My main responsibilities were concentrated towards maintaining a working technological environment for students and professors. Helping students with the network configuration that was available around the university campus and giving them repair services. Also making sure that any repair service asked by the professors was delivered correctly and without delay. 1 Oct 2012–10 Jun 2013 English Language Tutor South East European University Ilindenska n.335, 1200 Tetovo (Macedonia) www.seeu.edu.mk During my last academic year in my university, I was offered the opportunity to extend my English Language knowledge to other students at the Center of Languages which was located inside the Univeristy Campus. This opportunity was given to me based on the success I had shown on different courses and given that the lecturing language for my major was completely in English. 8/8/15 © European Union,- | http://europass.cedefop.europa.eu Page 2 / 3 Curriculum vitae Sep 2007–Jun 2008 Volunteer NGO "MDGjakova", Gjakova (Kosovo) www.mdg-jakova.com/ During my first year in high school I took part in an NGO led by Jetmir Bakija and Behar Xharra who were employees working in the UNDP office in Prishtina, Kosovo.
