Most of the optimization is done via hand-coding internal server/website files. Caching plugins e.g. WP Rocket, SG Optimizer, W3 Total Cache, Autooptimize, etc., are limited to what they can do, generate conflicts and fail to exploit the maximum speed potential.

To achieve great speed the following factors come into play:

1. Server: unregulated server caching or limited resources will block higher speed.

2. Website template/theme: most templates are not mobile optimized although advertised as such. Mobile-friendly is not only adjusting the page to fit small screens but also reducing code bloat and fast performance.

3. Page builders: Elementor, WP Bakery, Divi, Visual Composer, Elementor, WP Bakery, Wolf, Beaver Builder, Themify Builder, Site Origin, Nimble Builder, etc.

4. Plugins: having many plugins reduces the performance as each plugin carries 1-2 CSS and 2-4 JS scripts.

5. Database response time.
