I love it when a story comes alive, whether it be through writing, illustration, or video! It's been my privilege to author and illustrate seven childrens chapter books, as well as produce over five hundred Hidden Picture illustrations for Highlights magazine. In recent years, I've had the opportunity to collaborate with creative professionals in educational video projects for Cornell Maple. Speaking in schools about the creative process and helping kids tap into their own creativity is another delight, And I love teaching writers and illustrators their craft, with well over two hundred alumni from my classes, and was asked to lead workshops for illustrators at Highlights magazine. In the quest to enhance learning for creatives, I've co-organized two writers conferences in Greenville, and help coordinate the TR Town & Art Crawl.
