Through education, work and extra-curricular experiences I have gained valuable experience in business process improvement, quantitative modelling, statistical data analysis, forecasting, preparation and presentation of financial information.
Co-op experiences allowed me to work in a diverse set of organizations where I was able to develop my technical skills and demonstrate my ability to deliver quality results. During my most recent co-op with NN Re I greatly enhanced my quantitative modelling and programming skills developing tools which are used in the hedging processes. At Suncor I took an initiative to reduce costs through workforce level optimization. As a result we were able to reduce projected costs by $11 million. Started a pooled investment venture to manage investments into high growth equities, commodities and options based on short-term holding strategies. I believe what sets me apart from other candidates is my ability learn quickly, come up with creative solutions and being able to deliver on my initiatives. In addition to mathematics I am an avid fan of music production and know how to play a few instruments.
