Server Hunter is a virtual and dedicated server comparison platform,
aggregating the pricing and specifications of hundreds of server
providers using their APIs, custom scrapers and data feeds. As the
Founder & CEO, my responsibilities include back-end and front-end
programming, sysadmin, dealing with providers and indexing and
normalizing the data from thousands of formats into a single
Elasticsearch cluster to allow users to easily filter through.
Flightfox / Flight Expert Manager

Flightfox is a travel platform, unlocking substantial savings for flights
and hotels using advanced tricks such as hidden cities, fuel dumps and
miles arbitraging. As the Flight Expert Manager, my responsibilities
include managing 35 flight experts, making sure we find the lowest
price possible and keeping customer service at a high level, as well as
some programming and server maintenance when necessary.

Limelight Networks / Network Automation Engineer

Limelight Networks is a content delivery network, responsible for
delivering video and software updates to millions of users for
customers like Netflix, Microsoft, and Apple. As a Network Automation
Engineer, my responsibilities included writing tools to manage, monitor
and improve the networking, including indexing 2.4 TB of daily sFlow
data in an Elasticsearch cluster and turn this into useful reports.
Sprongo / Senior Developer

Sprongo is a video analysis platform for sports, allowing Olympic
athletes and coaches to quickly review and improve their technique and
shave precious seconds off their times. As the Senior Developer, I was
responsible for developing the entire subscription platform and was
able to achieve savings of 93% of the IT budget by using AWS services
like Glacier and RDS.
Snel IS, Qweb subsidiary / Technical Manager

Snel IS is a self-managed hosting provider, specializing in high
performance dedicated servers with instant setup. As the Technical
Manager, I was responsible for every technical aspect of the business,
including creating the entire backend infrastructure to manage
hundreds of servers and switches with a custom control panel.
Just Cause 2 MP / Server admin & Web developer
APRIL 2010 - PRESENT, Gold Coast, QLD, Australia
Just Cause 2 MP is a free community-made multiplayer mod for the
popular game Just Cause 2. I was responsible for creating and
maintaining the website as well as the server infrastructure. Notable
projects were the anti-piracy efforts using PKI certificates and having a
single server deal with 1,800 concurrent players in the same world.
Qweb / Technical Engineer

Qweb is a fully managed hosting provider, aimed at critical business
applications with high uptime requirements. As a Technical Engineer, I
was responsible for the reliability, configuration, maintenance and
security of the servers, as well as the development of internal tools to
automate tedious tasks. This position also involved making and
receiving phone calls from customers on a daily basis.

aimed at bringing casual games like Bingo and Solitaire to the internet.
As a programmer, I was responsible for introducing a translation
platform that allowed the company to expand from being solely in
Dutch to being available in 11 different languages and markets.
serverFFS / Founder & CEO

serverFFS was a gameserver hosting company which I launched and
operated. As the company grew, I had the opportunity to leave
GamePoint and focus on it full time. Faced with insecure and unstable
third-party control panels, I ended up writing a custom control panel
from scratch, which was the main selling point of the company.
Dutch Pancakes / Programmer

Dutch Pancakes is a web development company. As a programmer, I
was responsible for developing many small and big websites for
customers. The biggest project was for Fletcher Hotels, which involved
writing a custom CMS and booking system for over 85 different hotels
spread around the Benelux area.
