I received a Bachelor's of Science in Human Biology from UCSD.
I decided to shift away from science and instead focus on marketing and design.
I made this realization at Mantra Yoga & Juice Bar, where I originally was hired to work at the front desk. Through my hard work and persistence I moved up the ladder and eventually became the Digital Marketing Manager. I managed their social media, created flyers and marketing material for them, and edited their website. I was able to grow their Instagram following from 2000 followers to over 6000 by the time I left the company. It was during this time that I went back to school for a certificate in Web Development & Design from MiraCosta College to boost my skills. I continued to excel at Mantra and also became the Assistant Manager. I regularly interacted with clients, taught yoga classes and managed employees there in that role. Eventually, I moved on to work at FrescoData. I was brought on as a copywriter, but quickly took on other projects based on my skills. As their Marketing Manager, I manage their social media, perform content management, regularly perform graphic design tasks and assist in web development projects. At FrescoData, I ghostwrote an article for our CEO in Forbes that has been viewed 13000 times.
