I am a freelance writer, former journalist, and mother of one with a passion for words and an eye for detail.

I have 10 years' experience as a freelance writer, creating web content including website pages, email newsletters, blog posts and social media posts.

I have a further six years of experience as a print journalist on national and local newspapers, where I wrote news articles, features, and columns.

I specialize in writing about parenting and early childhood, education and travel, and helping small and medium-size businesses get their story out in the world with website content. However, I can turn my hand to any topic and enjoy researching and learning about new things. My research skills were honed during my university studies and I have a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and English and Literature and a journalism diploma.
