Asit Ganguli

Asit Ganguli wears multiple hats, performing in a variety of roles in distinctly different industries.

Current Work

As a Managing Partner at Blue Krill, he leads overall Business Development, Corporate Strategy, Client Strategy and Analysis for one of India’s most innovative digital marketing consultancy firms - serving companies ranging from tiny one-room start-ups to Fortune 1000 companies.

As founder of Cleat Beat, Asit was responsible for creating India's first football magazine. After amassing over 80,000 users and 300,000 monthly page views, Cleat Beat was sold to a media company in 2017.

Asit is also a board-member and investor in Cair, India’s newest manufacturer of all-natural, sustainable air-purifiers.

Early Career

Asit made his debut for Bangadarshan FC, at the age of 15, in the Delhi Soccer Association B-Division.

After four years, he moved up to B.B.Star FC, in the Delhi Super League Division, where he played for another three-years.

Trying out for different clubs, including JCT Phagwara, Asit suffered a knee injury that forced him into early retirement.

While continuing his education as a football coach on the side, Asit entered the Public Relations industry where he joined one of India’s largest companies, Perfect Relation. He worked for Imprimis Life PR, their medical-clientele division.

He then moved onto RAMS Relationships, one of the top Event Management agencies in the country.

Finally, Asit moved to a smaller Information Technology firm, BluEnt, where he worked on different aspects of sales, marketing, customer service and management – all leading up to his vision of setting up his own organization.

In 2007, Asit formed Scratch Design Studio, which was rechristened to Blue Krill (2009) after the introduction of new services.
