Carlos Ribeiro

Most of my knowledge comes from professional experience on Ruby ecosystem. But I also have good experience on Java and modern frontend stack and I absolutely love studying new technologies.
I've written software for companies from Walmart to early and mid stage startups in the past years. It's usually natural for me to get involved on backend and API-related development and continuous delivery culture.
It's comfortable for me to handle Ruby and its ecosystem technologies just fine. Most of my experience goes around consuming or creating APIs, working on web projects and improving the health of cloud-hosted products through Continuous Integration, which makes for great foundation on building and scaling distributed systems.

I'm also constantly investigating new technologies, from Functional Programming like Elixir to moderns frontend tools like ReactJS, and many more (check out my Github: https://github.com/duduribeiro/). This broad view gives me opportunity to think out-of-the-box and propose new technical strategies to tricky issues.
