The application was used, but was abandoned because we started using a paid service with more features. Matomo (formerly Piwik) integration. We needed web analytics for a group of sites spread over a few servers. I wrote a script that gathered pageview information in a queue, locally, on each server, and every few seconds sent it to the Piwik server through a PHP API.
