Jerma T. Berino

My name is Jerma Berino. I'm a wife, a Mom, and a nurse.

I started as an Online English Teacher after I jump-started my career from medical and corporate jobs. I had experiences as a customer service representative and an admin assistant in mall operations before.  

As a customer service, I handled walk-in customer queries, emails, and through the phone. I also serve as a mediator from different kinds of complaints between tenants and customers or from the products they've purchased. As an admin assistant, I filed monthly complaint reports, sales, KPIs through excel, word, PowerPoint, and presented it for our monthly meetings. Alongside, I was trained to do purchasing and invoices for the monthly payroll of maintenance staff.

In the past 2 years I've done volunteer work, facilitating a group of students under PathwayConnect with Brigham Young University-Idaho. Recently, I attended training and workshops on how to start working at home, Freelancing course with Virtual Assistant basics. Skills discussed were Virtual Assistant basics, Platforms, and Tools, CRM Management, Social Media Management basics, FB ads, Basic SEO, and content writing. I am knowledgeable with MS Office, Google Docs/ Suite, and basic photo editing. 

We know running a business, be it small or big is a bit stressful and demanding. And as they say, even if you’re cautious enough with even the slightest detail, errors or miscalculations do exist. That’s why Executive Assistant comes in. You see, I know we’re not perfect. However, I believe that two heads are better than one! And once an environment that is created with foundations of trust, respect, love, kindness, and loyalty is set, work-life balance will never be a question. Definitely,  this requires a lot of hard work, successes or frustrations in between, but I’m willing to give it a try. And yes, It will all work out!
