John Paul Facinabao

I am a CPA in the Philippines with 16 years of progressive career in corporate finance and accounting. I started in the academe, helping aspiring CPAs hurdle licensure examination, where I mastered further Fundamental and Advanced Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Advisory Services, Philippine Taxation and Business Laws, and Financial Management. I was also a practicing Public Accountant, providing array of services such as bookkeeping, audit, tax filing and trainings to several clients.

My foray as full-pledge CPA in commerce and industry started in 2007. I held managerial positions in several companies with multiple ventures (up to 40+ business units) giving me familiarity in handling accounting requirements of complex entities. I am familiar with accounting processes such as POS-Based Sales, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Cash Management, Bank Reconciliation, FS Preparation and Analysis, among others. I am also proficient in SAP (A1/R3), Quickbooks, Netsuite and MS Excel. I also consider myself tech-savvy and can learn new systems with ease.

Since I worked with dynamic and growing companies, I was given many opportunities to contribute in organising or streamlining processes, improving or customising financial systems, or provide other impactful reports to the growth of the enterprise. 

I am excited to work in this platform as it is a wonderful avenue for me as finance professional to assist multiple entities with their accounting and finance needs therefore expand my professional footprint. My progressive career in finance was made possible because I am results-driven, client-focused, efficient, maintains entrepreneurial approach in finance, always looking for opportunities to contribute, and improve things, which are qualities valuable for any enterprise.
