Company : TCS Brief Summary : Recgen 2 is an application used for daily/monthly account reconciliation process in AMEX. The application has both thick and thin clients. It allows the users to perform reconciliation, matching,month close related activities to there accounts and also to schedule the same process. The overall objective of the Recs Gen II (Reconciliation Generation II) project is to redefine the reconciliations process performed across American Express to address the Level 1 SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) deficiency. The goal of the Recs Gen II Implementation Project is to implement the POA (Point of Arrival) Reconciliations process as per the New Reconciliations Policy and the POA process defined by the Six Sigma project.
