Kiprotich Edwin is an experienced IT professional with excellent installation and troubleshooting abilities and advanced knowledge of computer information technology. System Implementation, Integration and Support, Network Installation and administration including firewall equipment such as Fortinet among others, Microsoft Office support including office 365 solution, Server installation,configuration and Administration including Active Directory, VMware, File share. I believe that Information Technology field is about learning and that solution to every problem is available utilizing search tools such as YouTube and online forums to always read more and seek solutions. I am passionate in Information technology field.

I have worked with various market solutions installing and supporting its operation among various users in several organizations. Solutions include Microsoft operating systems (Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows server 2013, 2012, 2012 R2, 2016), Microsoft applications such as MS office solutions, SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Teams. Google apps and docs solutions plus google sites as well, setting up and managing servers including virtualization technologies such as Hyper V, configuring and managing the active directory environment, antivirus solutions such as Kaspersky, Sophos end point, Norton, Eset, Bit defender, MacAfee. Firewall solution include Sophos, Fortinet. Email solution include Google (G-Suite), Exchange, office 365.

I have a global mindset ready to always explore many cultures motivated by my effective communication skills. Within my current task, I support users within the country and the region at large. Currently supporting users in the following countries Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Mauritius, Ethiopia, Indian Ocean Island. All user outside Kenya are supported remotely and those in Kenya but outside their workstation. I have a working experience in remote tools such as TeamViewer, Anydesk, LogMeIn, Windows share desktop solution, sharing screen and supporting via Skype, Skype for Business, MS Teams application, Zoom.

I am a team player and have worked with teams across the globe. While supporting Pernod-Ricard East Africa users for instance, I coordinate with fellow IT teams handling Network in France, handling systems and servers in South Africa. While supporting Actis Kenya Limited, I work hand in hand with teams in India, Dubai, and United Arab Emirates. Also, when I supported Proctor & Gamble (P&G) I worked with HCL group and HP group teams in Nigeria and United States of America. While I supported Cordaid, I worked with a team in Central Africa Republic and in Netherlands. Worked with Mondelez International (Cadbury) where I teamed up with a team in Ghana and Germany.
