Applying software engineering techniques, a computational method of diet analysis intended to
facilitate various calculations was presented as a completion of the conclusive work, performed by
students and professors in a process called ‘diet analysis of the Nutrition course’. This project was
initially implemented in pearl with the proposal to develop into the C ++ language Borland. One of the
main results of this work was the publication in the important Congress of Informatics in Health CBIS
(Portuguese version).
