This has been on versions from 7 through to 19. I have a reasonable functional understanding of the systems as well. Clients include large retailers in the United Kingdom, Europe, Africa, Australia, Asia and the Middle East. I have also been working on setting up services in the Cloud and cross-skilling into this area, particularly IaaS. I have worked on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), have completed Amazon (AWS) and Google basic cloud training so I believe I have a good grasp of these technologies and the benefits they bring. Assignments include: Panda Saudi Arabia Integration SME – July 2020 to August 2021: Integration SME on Panda’s V19.0 Oracle Retail cloud implementation project working on technologies like ODI, OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) and OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure). Panda migrated from on-premises Oracle Retail V14 to the Oracle Retail Cloud Service modules including MFCS, RPCS and RICS on Oracle’s cloud OCI. I been worked on integration to their point of sales systems (POS) from their head office systems using technologies like ODI, PL/SQL, MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL. Modules include RMS, RIB, RPM 7 ReSA integrating to their existing Sim, Allocations, RPOS and other legacy systems. Hardware platform is Linux on Oracle VM. I assisted with advice on application configuration, server sizing, database & middleware setup, etc. as well as providing support on technical issues. Wipro Technical Infrastructure Lead at Primark – November 2018 to March 2019: Managing the technical infrastructure team of ten members on Primark’s large implementation project of Oracle Retail version 15. Modules include the MOM suite, RPM, RIB, RFI & RDE as well as a number of custom-built systems. This included integration to IBM middleware. Hardware platform is IBM P Series on AIX. The team is responsible for installation, configuration and supporting the Oracle Retail system through development, SIT, UAT, OAT and go-live on 17 environments.
