For the last year I’ve been living in Nicaragua, learning Spanish and volunteering with local fairtrade farmers co-operatives. Now due
to political unrest in the country I’ve relocated to Mexico and I’m looking for a remote role with an exciting, ambitious company.

● Devised and executed an email acquisition strategy increasing our database from 45,000 subscribers to 103,000
● Worked 2IC to the Head of Acquisition to implement an Agile Marketing Methodology focussed on weekly sprints, testing
process and data meetings
● Hired and trained three Marketing Executives. Developed a new assessment process for recruiting and a training programme
for new hires in the marketing team.
● Led a team of two marketing executives through a sales cycle and successfully met our lead generation targets.

● Worked with the Head of Content to devise a content marketing strategy increasing traffic over the sales cycle to 188,683
sessions compared to 9,883 the year before
● Led the use of paid social advertising as a new channel to become our second biggest source of leads.
● Became the person within the acquisition team who would do the analysis after marketing campaigns/sales cycles. In
particular I led on our data analysis.

Social enterprise importing Nicaraguan coffee to sell in the UK
September 2014 – March 2016
● In my final year at university I co-founded a social enterprise importing green coffee from Sheffield’s twin city in Nicaragua,
roasting and selling the coffee in Sheffield and then using the profits to support social projects working with young people in
both cities.
● Developing our brand and marketing strategy; this involved managing two graphic designers, two copywriters and a website
developer.
● Recruited and trained a team of 16 volunteers working across various teams including: marketing, sales and sustainability.
● Designed and executed our sales strategy targeting local coffee shops, delis and offices. This included building a database of
prospects, designing our telephone sales method and pitching to coffee shop owners.
● Executing our Digital Marketing strategy including Email Marketing and PPC. I also used Google Analytics to evaluate our
online performance and to remarket to potential prospects.
● Managed cash flow forecasting and developed budgets to ensure we met our financial objectives.
● In our first year our revenue was £13,000 which we doubled in our second year.
