As a system administrator / production support engineer turned technical writer, I like to combine solid interpersonal communication skills, strong customer focus and research and troubleshooting skills, with a penchant to write.

I love accessing the CLI of a product, getting hands-on with the configuration and installation steps, playing with the system and experience it in action as I believe that is the key to translating the experience to users through

While deeply intrigued by products that revolve around (AI/ML/PaaS/SaaS/Cloud computing/Devops), I revel in Agile environments and enjoy going through user stories in JIRA, participating in daily scrum meetings and talking to product owners and product managers, or reading their Confluence / wiki pages and posts to wean actionable insights on product features and customer feedback.

Through an exciting work tenure, I have had the chance to use a wide range of authoring and publishing tools from LaTEX on linux machines, to MS Word, to various DITA-XML based tools, to the now popular markdown based systems.

Recently, I find myself writing more and more online product feature documentation, UX microcopy and online user documentation that are based on the tenets of topic based approach, minimalism, structured authoring. However, I have developed a fair share of print media user manuals, traditional book-length user guides, release notes, API guides, SDK guides and reference guides.

Having now worked with teams that use Git, Github, JIRA, YAML, JSON, XML, Java, Javascript, Python, Linux, microservices, AWS, RESTful APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Graffana, Jenkins, Groovy, Gradle, HTML and CSS, I too have become familiar with these tools and technologies.

I invite you to a read my resume and look forward to a discussion that can help start a synergistic relation where we can work together.
